The Pittsburgh Steelers traveled to France and secured a hard-fought 16-10 victory against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday morning at Stade de France in Saint-Denis. Despite lingering questions surrounding civil unrest in the area prior to kickoff, the Week 7 matchup proceeded as planned before an enthralled international crowd.

Veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers reached a major milestone during the contest, surpassing Peyton Manning for sole possession of the third-most touchdown passes in NFL history with 540. Rodgers connected with tight end Darnell Washington in the end zone for the historic score. He finished the game completing 19 of 30 passes for 212 yards and later sealed the victory by scrambling for a crucial first down in the fourth quarter.

Running back Jaylen Warren anchored the Steelers' offensive output, rushing for 101 yards on 18 carries while adding 36 receiving yards. Rico Dowdle also contributed to the ground game, helping the Pittsburgh offense maintain momentum alongside contributions from wide receiver Germie Bernard.

The Steelers' defense delivered a strong performance, highlighted by an interception from inside linebacker Payton Wilson against Saints quarterback Tyler Shough in the third quarter. Pass rushers T.J. Watt and Patrick Queen added significant sacks to disrupt New Orleans throughout the afternoon.

New Orleans struggled to overcome multiple injuries to Shough, who managed a touchdown pass to Devaughn Vele and guided the Saints within scoring range. However, a missed 52-yard field goal attempt by Daniel Carlson and a late defensive penalty that granted Pittsburgh a first down ultimately sealed the outcome.

With the 16-10 win, the Steelers improved their record to 5-2 overall and 2-0 in overseas games over the past two seasons. The team will return to the United States to prepare for an upcoming home matchup against the Cleveland Browns on November 1, with a chance to claim the top spot in the AFC North.
