Bollywood Star Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor to Reunite for King Dance Number
The upcoming action film featuring Shah Rukh Khan is slated for a theatrical release in December 2026.
Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are reportedly set to reunite on the big screen for a special dance number in the upcoming feature film King. Production details indicate that the sequence is scheduled to be filmed in Mumbai, with choreography led by Vaibhavi Merchant.
According to sources close to the production, the new musical track aims to capture the high-energy style of the actors' previous collaboration on the song "Chammak Challo" from the movie Ra.One. Organizers are reportedly bringing in international dancers to support the large-scale production sequence.
The planned collaboration adds to a history of shared screen credits between the two performers, who previously appeared together in Asoka, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and Ra.One. However, official confirmation regarding Kapoor's specific role and the details of the dance number has not been publicly released by the filmmakers.
King is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 24, 2026. Promotional material for the project has already begun rolling out, including an initial promotional poster that showcased Shah Rukh Khan in a rugged persona.
