Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause and Australian musician G Flip have ended their relationship after several years together. Stause announced the separation on Monday through a vulnerable and emotional video shared on Instagram, expressing deep sadness to her followers over the unexpected breakup.

In the social media upload, Stause admitted that she felt like a failure and explained that she did not yet have all the information or reasons for why the relationship came to an end. However, she emphasized that they agreed to handle the public separation with mutual love and respect. “That’s not hard for me, because I’m in love with this person,” Stause stated in the video, noting that she still holds deep affection for her ex-partner.

G Flip, whose legal name is Georgia Flippo, also addressed the split online, sharing that their head and heart felt very heavy. The musician and the reality television star first connected in May 2022 and later held a non-legal marriage ceremony in Las Vegas in May 2023. Throughout their time together, the couple frequently shared glimpses of their lives and travels, gaining a large following of supporters who viewed their romance as a significant queer success story in reality television.

The relationship brought considerable visibility to queer representation on mainstream platforms, capturing the attention of fans around the world. Despite facing homophobic backlash following the public reveal of their romance, the couple consistently presented a united front and expressed genuine devotion to one another.

Following the announcement, reactions poured in from fans, friends, and fellow public figures. Jason Oppenheim, Stause’s former boyfriend and co-star on Selling Sunset, took to the comments section of her post to offer words of encouragement. “I’m really sorry to hear this. I’m thinking of you and sending you my love,” Oppenheim wrote, adding that while things sometimes do not work out, it does not mean anyone has failed.

Oppenheim praised Stause as a wonderful person and reassured her that she is deeply loved, noting that it will likely take time to process the emotional impact of the split. Stause and Oppenheim previously dated before ending their romance due to differing views on starting a family, though they maintained a close friendship and continued working together on the Netflix series.

During her relationship with G Flip, Stause had spoken openly about her journey with in vitro fertilization (IVF) in hopes of expanding their family. As the reality star navigates this new chapter, she has indicated a desire for more privacy in her romantic life moving forward, leaving fans and supporters to offer condolences as both individuals begin to process the end of their high-profile relationship.
