Fedez and Massimo Giletti Clash Ahead of Television Broadcast

Tension reached a peak between rapper Fedez and television host Massimo Giletti ahead of a broadcast of the investigative program "Lo Stato delle Cose" on Rai 3. During a preview clip released to promote the show, Fedez was recorded speaking to a program correspondent and pointing his finger while referring to the host, stating that Giletti "creates garbage."

The rapper criticized the show's handling of interviews and predicted that the network would isolate that specific comment to generate controversy. "Only the part where I say Giletti creates garbage will be edited in, but I listed a whole series of reasons why Giletti should straighten his back, examine his conscience, and reevaluate the deontology with which he works," Fedez explained during the exchange.

Massimo Giletti quickly responded to the provocation through official channels and social media. The host addressed the rapper's remarks directly, stating, "Should I examine my conscience and straighten my back? We will talk about it tomorrow night," thereby setting up an on-air confrontation for Monday evening's broadcast.

The public dispute follows a history of underlying friction between the two figures dating back earlier in the year. The television program previously covered an investigation into Milanese ultra groups and the relationships between certain public personalities and Luca Lucci, the leader of AC Milan ultras. Although Fedez was never placed under investigation, the rapper expressed frustration over what he perceived as a slanted narrative implying complicity.

In January, Giletti remarked on air regarding a potential legal notice, and by spring, a formal lawsuit for defamation was filed. During subsequent studio discussions, the host maintained that any claims of defamation would need to be legally proven in court.

Beyond his ongoing feud with the television host, Fedez has also faced recent public attention regarding his participation in the Kings Cup Lottomatica.sport soccer tournament as president of the Boomers team. Following a difficult start in the tournament, his squad prepares to face upcoming matches as the competition introduces new rules such as the "Crazy Penalty."
