Supermodel Heidi Klum is gearing up to unveil her highly anticipated Halloween costume, marking her 25th annual star-studded celebration in New York City. Known for her elaborate and grotesque holiday transformations, Klum has spent the week building suspense on Instagram by sharing a series of cryptic clues and gruesome prosthetic previews.

Ahead of the big reveal, Klum gave fans a final glimpse on Halloween Eve by posting two photos resembling a mouth with bubbly teeth, writing, "Your final clue…. See you TOMORROW 😛👻." Throughout the week, her social media posts featured body molds, backpack contraptions, and textures resembling human tissue and internal organs.

The barrage of unsettling teasers has sent fans into a frenzy, sparking widespread speculation across social media. Commenters and followers have guessed potential inspirations ranging from body horror films and television shows like The Substance, The Last of Us, and Stranger Things to deep-sea creatures and anatomical structures.

Special effects makeup artist Mike Marino, a longtime collaborator working alongside Klum, noted that this year's creation ranks among the most complex projects they have ever tackled. Marino explained to NBC's Hollywood ReelTime that the endeavor is exceptionally difficult and demanding, requiring an immense amount of hidden labor to bring the vision to life.

While Klum has confirmed that her latest look will be exceptionally bloody, she has successfully kept the final concept under wraps. Over the past two decades and a half, the model has built a reputation for completely altering her appearance with high-concept outfits, having previously transformed into an earthworm, a giant peacock, E.T., and a scaly Medusa.

Klum launched her annual tradition back in 2000 after growing weary of lackluster celebrations and uninspired costumes at other gatherings. Rather than aiming for conventional glamour, she decided to prioritize shock value and artistry, noting that she wanted to give people a party that truly pushes boundaries.

Before stepping into the makeup chair for what typically requires hours of special-effects application, Klum celebrated the season with her family in New York City. She attended the third anniversary of her Crazy Pizza establishment wearing a tangerine-orange Lever Couture dress accompanied by three of her children, offering a vibrant, albeit tamer, preview of her festive spirit.
