Severe weather alerts have been issued across multiple regions in Italy, with authorities warning residents and tourists to remain extremely vigilant against heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and powerful winds.

The meteorological warnings affect numerous areas throughout the country, including Piedmont, Sardinia, Tuscany, Lombardy, Basilicata, Molise, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Apulia, Veneto, Campania, and Lazio. Weather experts stress that proper preparation is vital as hazardous conditions develop.

In the Piedmont region, authorities implemented a red alert level for heavy rainfall, advising citizens to avoid all nonessential travel and follow official instructions carefully. Orange level alerts for thunderstorms and stormy winds remain active across several other regions, impacting outdoor activities and daily routines.

Meanwhile, the German capital of Berlin and the surrounding Brandenburg region are experiencing a separate spell of wet weather. Overcast skies dominate the region, accompanied by occasional rainfall in the western half of Brandenburg and anticipated steady rain moving from west to east overnight.

Temperatures in Berlin and Brandenburg hover around moderate levels, with daytime highs reaching up to 16 degrees Celsius in some areas and overnight lows dropping down to around 7 degrees Celsius. Moderate southwesterly to westerly winds accompanied by occasional gusts are expected to persist through the night.

Looking ahead to Thursday, the rainy conditions in the Berlin and Brandenburg region are projected to gradually clear eastward during the morning hours, making way for temporary clearing and occasional afternoon clouds with isolated showers. Unsettled weather conditions are forecast to continue into the weekend.

Residents and travelers in both affected European areas are strongly advised to monitor local weather updates closely, exercise caution during travel, and prepare for potential disruptions to outdoor schedules.
