On October 24, 2026, weather conditions across Vietnam are expected to be predominantly sunny with minimal rainfall, according to reports from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting. While most of the country will enjoy clear skies during the day, residents in certain southern regions should prepare for potential precipitation in the form of scattered showers and thunderstorms during the evening hours.

In Northern Vietnam, including Hanoi, the day will begin with early morning fog in some areas, followed by sunny conditions. Daytime temperatures are generally expected to range between 31 and 34 degrees Celsius, with some locations potentially exceeding 34 degrees. Nights are forecast to be largely dry, with temperatures ranging from 22 to 27 degrees Celsius depending on the specific province.

The Central region will also experience strong sunshine throughout the day. From Thanh Hoa down to Hue, temperatures are expected to reach between 31 and 34 degrees Celsius, with some areas surpassing the 34-degree mark. Coastal areas in the South Central region and the Central Highlands will see similar sunny conditions, with temperatures generally peaking between 30 and 33 degrees Celsius.

In the Southern region, the weather will be mostly dry and sunny during the morning and early afternoon, though meteorologists have warned of intense heat during the midday hours. Temperatures in the South are projected to fluctuate between 31 and 35 degrees Celsius. While the morning will be clear, cloud development is expected to trigger rain in parts of the Mekong Delta, specifically affecting areas like Can Tho, Ca Mau, and Kien Giang.

Ho Chi Minh City is expected to remain mostly sunny with little to no rain during the night. However, some scattered showers may occur in the central and northern parts of the city during the late afternoon. Residents in the southern provinces are advised to remain cautious, as the forecasted thunderstorms may be accompanied by lightning, tornadoes, and strong wind gusts.

As the country navigates these weather patterns, authorities continue to monitor regional developments. The combination of high daytime temperatures and localized evening storms remains a consistent feature for the southern provinces, while the northern and central regions maintain a more stable, sunny outlook for the remainder of the day.
