Brad Pitt is returning to the big screen as stuntman-turned-fixer Cliff Booth in "The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth," with Netflix releasing the first official retro poster and promotional video. The project reunites Pitt with the character he first portrayed in Quentin Tarantino's 2019 feature "Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood." While Tarantino wrote the screenplay, David Fincher takes charge behind the camera.

The film is scheduled to arrive in IMAX theaters worldwide on November 25, 2026, for an exclusive two-week run before making its streaming debut on Netflix on December 23, 2026. Tickets for the IMAX screenings are currently on sale. The studio pairing brings together two distinct creative styles, with Pitt also serving as a producer alongside Ceán Chaffin.

Set in 1977, eight years after the events of the original film, the story follows Booth as he navigates a changing Hollywood landscape. In addition to working as a Hollywood fixer, Netflix's synopsis reveals that Booth also earns money as a bartender and a projectionist, utilizing his unusual skills to handle industry scandals across Los Angeles.

The supporting cast features Elizabeth Debicki as talent agent Karen Crosby, who contacts Booth on behalf of television star Charlie Peters, played by Scott Caan. The ensemble also includes Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis, and Karren Karagulian. Leonardo DiCaprio is not expected to return as Rick Dalton.

Music for the film will be composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. This project marks the sixth film collaboration between the composers and director David Fincher, a partnership that previously earned them an Academy Award for Best Original Score for "The Social Network" in 2011.

In addition to the cinematic release, Quentin Tarantino is set to release a novelization of the film on December 8, providing a literary companion to the new cinematic chapter in Booth's life.
