Actor and director Chad Lowe and his wife, Kim Painter, recently honored their late daughter Fiona with a private celebration of life surrounded by family and close friends. The service took place over the weekend, offering loved ones a space to remember the 13-year-old.

Fiona passed away on September 29, with her cause of death later ruled a suicide by the medical examiner's office. In a statement released shortly after her death, her family remembered her as a smart and creative young girl who deeply loved to dance, adding that she was the light of their lives and profoundly adored by her parents and her sisters, Mabel and Nixie.

The family has received widespread support from friends and relatives during their grief. Chad's older brother, actor Rob Lowe, along with other family members, has rallied around the couple and their surviving daughters to help them navigate this difficult period.

Earlier in October, the family attended the wedding of Chad's brother Matthew to ensure the young daughters were surrounded by relatives and moments of joy. Sources noted that being close to loved ones was considered important for the family as they continue to mourn.

In the wake of the tragedy, the family publicly encouraged anyone struggling with mental health challenges to seek help through the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Older sister Mabel also shared an emotional tribute online, vowing to keep Fiona's memory alive.

Outside of his family life, Chad Lowe remains active in the entertainment industry. He recently directed episodes for television, including work on the drama series 9-1-1: Nashville, while also participating in media commentary discussions regarding sports broadcasting.
