Inter Miami secured a hard-fought 2-2 draw against FC Cincinnati in a Major League Soccer match played at the Nu Stadium. With Lionel Messi in the starting lineup and playing the full 90 minutes, the team coached by Cristian "Kily" González battled to stay near the top of the Eastern Conference standings as the regular season approaches its final stretch.

The match remained scoreless and relatively slow through a tightly contested first half. Tension rose shortly before halftime when Lionel Messi received a yellow card in the 44th minute following an accidental collision with an opponent while preparing to shoot, a decision that caught the Argentine star by surprise.

The rhythm of the game shifted dramatically after the intermission. In the 61st minute, veteran striker Luis Suárez broke the deadlock for Inter Miami, beautifully curling a shot past the goalkeeper after receiving an inventive touch from Casemiro inside the area, following an initial setup by Rodrigo De Paul.

Despite holding the lead, Inter Miami faced a fierce comeback from FC Cincinnati in the closing stages of the match. Kenji Mboma Dem leveled the score in the 80th minute with a powerful left-footed strike from an assist by Evander, stunning the visiting defense.

Just six minutes later, FC Cincinnati capitalized on further defensive disarray when Tom Barlow sent a backpass to Samuel Gidi. Gidi drove a low, precise shot into the far corner past goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair, completing a temporary turnaround that put the hosts up 2-1.

Facing a damaging defeat, Inter Miami found salvation from the substitute bench in the final moments of regulation time. Recently arrived Brazilian winger Riquelme Filippi received a pass from Rodrigo De Paul on the left flank in the 90th minute, cut inside past defenders, and unleashed a precise bending shot into the net to salvage the 2-2 final score.

Following the conclusion of the match, the Eastern Conference standings show Nashville SC firmly leading the table with 71 points, having secured the Supporters' Shield. New England Revolution holds second place with 58 points, while Inter Miami sits closely behind in third position with 56 points, and FC Cincinnati occupies the eighth spot with 43 points.
