Jio Platforms IPO Share Allotment Status Set to Be Finalized Today
Investors who applied for the record-breaking public offering can now check their allotment status online through the registrar or major stock exchanges.
The share allotment for the heavily subscribed initial public offering of Jio Platforms, the digital and telecom arm of Reliance Group, is scheduled to be finalized on Monday, October 26. The initial share sale concluded last week on Friday, October 23, setting multiple records in the market after drawing immense interest from participants across the board.
During its bidding period, the massive Rs 30,213 crore initial public offering achieved a staggering subscription rate of 22.19 times. Market participants placed bids for a total of 4,38,26,15,568 shares, significantly outpacing the 19,75,25,934 shares originally offered by the company.
Investors who submitted bids for the public offering can verify whether they received shares by tracking their allotment status online. The verification can be conducted through the official portals of stock exchanges such as the National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange, or via the official website of the issue registrar, KFin Technologies.
To check the status on the KFin Tech portal, applicants need to navigate to the designated IPO allotment page. Users must select Jio Platforms from the dropdown menu of available public offerings and provide identification details, which can include a Permanent Account Number, the application number, or Demat account information, before submitting the form to view the result.
Alternatively, individuals can check their allotment status directly through the Bombay Stock Exchange website by accessing its application status checking page. After selecting Jio Platforms from the listed companies, users must input their Permanent Account Number or application number, complete a CAPTCHA verification, and click submit.
A similar verification process is available on the National Stock Exchange platform. Investors can visit the designated trade and bid verification page provided by the exchange, choose Jio Platforms from the menu, enter the necessary personal identification details alongside the CAPTCHA code, and submit the query to check their share allocation.
With the finalization of the share allotment process, unsuccessful applicants can expect the initiation of refunds, while successful bidders will see the allocated shares credited to their Demat accounts ahead of the upcoming official stock listing.
