Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns Celebrate Rings and Fashion in New York

Model and entrepreneur Jordyn Woods celebrated a major milestone at Madison Square Garden during the New York Knicks' season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers. As the Knicks raised their 2026 NBA Championship banner to the rafters, center Karl-Anthony Towns received his championship ring, a moment Woods commemorated online by sharing photos of his championship bling alongside her own wedding band.

The couple's relationship has reached several milestones over the past year. After meeting through mutual friends in Los Angeles in 2017 and developing a close friendship, they began dating in 2020. Following an engagement on Christmas Day in 2025, they married in a civil ceremony on August 11, 2026, followed by a star-studded wedding in Malibu, California, on August 15.

During the Knicks' opening night festivities, Woods introduced a new metallic gold iteration of her signature accessory from her fashion label, Woods by Jordyn. The Limited Edition Tux Clutch Mini in 'Trophy Gold' followed the immense popularity of her original 'Summer Citrus' orange handbag, which became a viral courtside phenomenon during the team's championship run earlier in the year.

The original orange clutch gained widespread attention as fans attributed a superstitious winning streak to the accessory during the postseason. The handbag's popularity grew so significantly that the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum hosted it for a five-day public exhibition, and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani held it during the team's victory parade. When arena bag policies restricted her accessories during the NBA Finals, Woods even wore custom shoes made from the same orange clutch material.

Despite the festive atmosphere surrounding the ring ceremony and the debut of the golden bag, the Knicks dropped their season-opening matchup to the 76ers by a score of 106-100. Karl-Anthony Towns put up an efficient performance in the loss, recording 19 points, 12 rebounds, two blocks, and a steal in just 24 minutes of action before getting into foul trouble.

Beyond her courtside presence, Woods is expanding her brand's physical footprint. WOODS by Jordyn is launching its first-ever physical pop-up shop at 131 Greene Street in SoHo, New York City, running over Halloween weekend through November 1. The brick-and-mortar retail experience follows her recognition at New York Fashion Week, where she received the Fashion Game Changer award at The Daily Front Row's Fashion Media Awards.

The upcoming retail event will offer shoppers an exclusive in-person preview of the Tux Clutch and Mini Tux Clutch in Canvas ahead of their online release. As Woods balances her growing fashion enterprise with supporting her husband on the basketball court, the couple continues to blend professional ventures with their life in New York.
