Paula Echevarria Discusses Marriage Views and Relationship with Miguel Torres

Spanish actress Paula Echevarria recently addressed her marital status and relationship with her partner, former soccer player Miguel Torres, during an appearance on the videopodcast Moderneces. The couple, who have been together since 2018 and share a five-year-old son named Miki, currently have no plans to get married.

During the interview, Echevarria explained that she does not feel the need to walk down the aisle again, noting that both she and Torres have previously been married. Echevarria was previously married to singer David Bustamante, with whom she shares an 18-year-old daughter named Daniella, while Torres was also previously married.

"I already did it, I already got married. In this life you have to try everything, but that's it," Echevarria explained. She added that she does not harbor any regrets about her past marriage, stating that she believes in facing the outcomes of her choices. Furthermore, she expressed indifference toward the distinction between being married and not being married, remarking that a ceremony mainly serves as a party.

The actress clarified that she is not opposed to weddings in general, but simply finds the prospect of organizing one tedious. However, she also shared a lighthearted disagreement she and Torres share regarding a formal proposal. According to the actress, Torres has not formally asked her to marry him, and when she brings it up, he asks why she does not propose to him instead.

"There are things for which I am a bit of a traditional pest, and that is one. I would never ask him, and I know you are going to criticize me for this. Do it, I do not care. It is my opinion, I repeat, my opinion," Echevarria stated regarding her stance on traditional marriage roles.

Aside from her recent comments on relationships, Echevarria has remained active in her personal and professional life. She recently showed public support for Isabel Navarro following a family bereavement, mirroring her own experience after losing her father during the summer.
