TSV 1860 München secured a dramatic 4-3 victory over TSV Buchbach in a seven-goal Regionalliga thriller at the sold-out Grünwalder Stadion on Friday evening. Lance Fiedler emerged as the match-winner for the hosts, scoring the decisive goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time to exact revenge for a bitter defeat in the Landespokal approximately two months prior.

The match began with intense action as both teams played with open intent. Buchbach struck first in the seventh minute when Tobias Heiland capitalized on a flat delivery from the right wing to beat goalkeeper Vitus Eicher. The hosts responded quickly in the 16th minute through Florian Niederlechner, who hammered home a rebound after Ludwig Zech saved an initial effort from Fiedler.

The home side gained momentum through dangerous attacking plays on the right flank, spearheaded by Fabio Wagner. In the 28th minute, Wagner delivered a precise cross that Felix Weber headed into the net to give 1860 München a 2-1 lead. However, Buchbach demonstrated resilience before halftime. Heiland scored his second goal of the night in the 33rd minute with a powerful strike into the top corner, and Samed Bahar added a third for the visitors from 25 yards out in the 42nd minute, sending the guests into the locker room ahead 3-2.

The second half continued at a high pace, with Buchbach coming close to extending their lead when defender Lasse Faßmann cleared a chipped shot off the goal line in the 61st minute. 1860 München applied heavy pressure in search of an equalizer, which initially seemed to arrive when substitute Arian Ortivero Calderon headed in, only for the effort to be disallowed due to an offside ruling.

The persistence of the Munich team paid off in the closing stages. In the 82nd minute, Ortivero Calderon found the back of the net legitimately with a header following a corner kick, bringing the score level at 3-3 and electrifying the home supporters.

As the match appeared headed for a draw, Fiedler unleashed a powerful strike from outside the box into the bottom left corner deep into stoppage time. The late winner sent the stadium into celebration and sealed the 4-3 triumph.

With this hard-fought victory, 1860 München climbed to second place in the Regionalliga standings with 30 points, overtaking Buchbach, who remained winless for the sixth consecutive league match and sat closely behind with 29 points. 1860 coach Alper Kayabunar admitted after the final whistle that he was completely exhausted following the wild encounter, noting that his team must address their defensive vulnerabilities.
