Polish driver Andrzej Lewandowski triumphed in the AM-LC category of the Lamborghini World Finals at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, securing his second consecutive victory of the weekend and clinching the championship title. Driving his Huracán Super Trofeo Evo 2 for the ASR Team, Lewandowski delivered a dominant performance across the Italian circuit.

Lewandowski started from pole position following the second qualifying session, but temporarily lost the lead at the start when Stephane Lemeret of team CMR overtook him at the Prima Variante. Although Lemeret initially yielded the position, he received a five-second penalty for gaining an advantage by failing to properly navigate the second turn. Despite the penalty, Lemeret maintained a strong pace and handed the lead to his teammate Rodrigue Gillion following the pit stops.

Lewandowski quickly reclaimed the top spot by launching a successful attack on the #27 Huracan at the Roggia chicane. From that point onward, the Polish driver maintained his composure to cruise toward the finish line, despite a late Safety Car deployment triggered by a collision between Francesco Galli and Raffaele Giannoni that bunched the field together for the final couple of laps. Lewandowski successfully defended his lead at the restart to seal the overall AM category title with a perfect score across Race 1 and Race 2.

American driver David Staab of Precision Performance Motorsport finished second in the race, staging an impressive comeback from sixth place after losing positions at the start. Another American competitor, Michael Fitzpatrick, rounded out the podium alongside co-driver Johan Schwartz for 89x Motorsports. Cooper Broll completed a remarkable recovery drive from twenty-ninth on the grid to finish just outside the top three for Precision Performance Motorsport.

In the LC category, Christopher Koebbe secured the top class finish while placing ninth overall, ahead of Rocky Bolduc. In the final AM standings, Lewandowski claimed the title with 32 points, followed by Staab with 18 points and the Micanek duo of Jakub Knoll and Renaud Kuppens with 14 points. Bolduc captured the LC category standings victory ahead of Koebbe and Gosselin.

In broader automotive industry news involving the broader Lamborghini family, the Volkswagen Group continues to navigate corporate developments. Audi recently announced plans to invest $4 billion in a new production facility in Georgia to build SUVs, a move that falls under a corporate umbrella that also includes luxury brands such as Lamborghini, Bentley, and Ducati.
