Inter Milan secured a vital 3-0 victory over Feyenoord on Tuesday night at Stadion De Kuip in Rotterdam, providing a much-needed boost to their Champions League standing. The result marks a significant turnaround for the Italian club, which had entered the match following a difficult period that included a recent loss in the Derby della Madonnina and a challenging start to their European season.

Yann Aurel Bisseck opened the scoring for the visitors, finding the back of the net with a left-footed strike from the right side of the box after being set up by Djed Spence. The goal provided Inter with an early advantage, settling the nerves of a squad that had been struggling with both form and a series of injuries to key personnel.

The lead was doubled before halftime when Francesco Pio Esposito connected with a close-range header to extend the advantage to 2-0. Esposito, who had recently recovered from a flu bug that impacted the team's availability in previous matches, proved to be a pivotal presence in the attack alongside Marcus Thuram.

In the second half, Piotr Zielinski sealed the win with a third goal, firing a left-footed shot from outside the penalty area into the bottom left corner. The assist came from Nicolò Barella, capping off a dominant performance by the Inter midfield. Despite Feyenoord's efforts to respond, including attempts from Luciano Valente and Anis Hadj Moussa, the Inter defense and goalkeeper Josep Martínez remained resolute to keep a clean sheet.

The match was played under difficult circumstances for both sides, as both clubs dealt with significant injury lists. Feyenoord was missing several players, including Bart Nieuwkoop, Gijs Smal, and Thomas Beelen, while Inter was without Lautaro Martinez, Curtis Jones, and John Stones. Additionally, Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni was unavailable due to a suspension following his red card in the previous match against Shakhtar Donetsk.

This victory serves as a crucial recovery for Inter, who had previously suffered defeats against Real Madrid and Club Brugge in the competition. For Feyenoord, the loss at their home ground was a setback, particularly after their earlier success against Como in the same tournament. The two teams, who met in the Round of 16 last season, will now look toward their remaining fixtures as the group stage progresses.
