Kings of Leon Announce Sydney Concert for 2027 Australian Tour

Grammy-winning rock band Kings of Leon have officially scheduled a massive outdoor performance in Sydney as part of their newly announced 2027 Australian and New Zealand headline tour. The Nashville group will perform at Centennial Park on Sunday, February 28, 2027, as part of the inaugural Sydney Summertime concert series.

The tour arrives in support of the band's tenth studio album, O My Beloved, which is scheduled for worldwide release on November 6, 2026. Fans attending the upcoming concerts can expect a combination of fresh material from the new record alongside a catalog of career-defining anthems such as 'Sex on Fire', 'Use Somebody', and 'The Bucket'.

Joining the Followill family—brothers Caleb, Nathan, and Jared, along with cousin Matthew—as special guests for all Australian dates will be acclaimed Australian psychedelic rock band Ocean Alley. The tour marks another major chapter for the group, which has evolved from Southern rock roots into international arena headliners since emerging in 1999.

The Sydney performance at Centennial Park is an all-ages event designed to accommodate families and younger music fans. According to organizers, children aged 12 and under will receive free admission, while discounted youth tickets will be available for individuals aged 13 to 17, provided they are accompanied by a responsible adult. Additionally, every ticket purchase includes return public transport.

Presented by Black Peach, the Sydney Summertime series aims to offer an elevated festival atmosphere. Beyond general admission areas, the venue will feature front-of-stage Gold Circle access, a garden-style VIP area known as The Grove, and a partially covered deck called The Terrace overlooking the stage. The site will also incorporate local restaurant pop-ups, food trucks, and dedicated bars.

Ticketing for the tour begins with an album pre-order window for fans who secure O My Beloved through designated music stores by Wednesday, October 21. A series of specialized pre-sales, including options for Vodafone and Mastercard customers as well as Live Nation members, will kick off on Thursday, October 22. General public ticket sales will commence on Tuesday, October 27, via Moshtix.
