Several prominent companies saw their stocks climb in premarket trading following the release of their third-quarter financial results. Package delivery giant UPS and beverage leader Coca-Cola both reported figures that surpassed Wall Street expectations, leading them to raise their full-year financial outlooks.

UPS posted an adjusted earnings per share of $1.69 on consolidated revenue of $22.9 billion, outperforming analyst expectations of $1.62 per share on revenue of $22.27 billion. CEO Carol Tomé stated that the company is entering the peak holiday shipping season from a position of strength, noting that the network is the most automated and efficient in its history.

Driven by these solid metrics, UPS shares traded 1.14% higher in premarket sessions. The company raised its full-year 2026 consolidated revenue outlook to approximately $92.6 billion, up from a previous target of $91.2 billion. Additionally, UPS increased its adjusted operating profit target to $8.75 billion and adjusted diluted earnings per share to $7.28.

In the beverage sector, Coca-Cola also reported strong momentum, announcing $13.4 billion in net revenue for the third quarter, a 7% increase year over year that beat analyst estimates of $12.93 billion. The company posted an adjusted earnings per share of $91 cents, surpassing the expected 88 cents. Following these developments, Coca-Cola shares rose in premarket trading.

CEO Henrique Braun attributed the positive performance to sustained business momentum, despite lackluster demand in the home North American market where volumes remained flat. Globally, unit case volume grew 5%, bolstered by a 16% international increase in Coca-Cola Zero Sugar volume. Consequently, Coca-Cola raised its full-year outlook for the third consecutive quarter, projecting comparable earnings growth of at least 11% and organic revenue growth of at least 5%.

Other companies similarly experienced positive market reactions to their quarterly reports. Corning shares jumped nearly 3% after exceeding profit and revenue estimates, while Royal Caribbean advanced 4.4% following a stronger-than-expected earnings report that also led to upwardly revised guidance for the year.

Conversely, not all companies shared the same trajectory. Whirlpool shares tumbled 7% after the home appliance manufacturer missed earnings expectations and lowered its full-year revenue guidance to $14.5 billion, while anticipating a per-share loss for the fiscal year.
