Renowned actor Liam Neeson remains a prominent figure in the entertainment industry as his recent projects achieve notable streaming milestones and his classic films face departure from popular platforms. Neeson has built a career defined by high-octane action movies and intense thrillers, maintaining a steady presence on both the big screen and digital streaming services.

Among his recent ventures, the CIA thriller "The Fix," which was released on September 11, 2026, has quickly found redemption on streaming platforms. Despite facing a difficult run at the box office with a limited release and earning mixed critical reception with a 16 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes, the film has climbed the charts. By late October 2026, "The Fix" secured the fifteenth spot among Amazon VOD releases in the United States, outperforming several high-profile titles.

In "The Fix," directed by Guy Moshe, Neeson portrays Larry, a former CIA agent and mentor to Tucker, played by Zachary Levi. The plot follows cognitive issues that cause Larry to reveal the location of twenty-five million dollars hidden inside a Tehran hotel wall during the 1981 embassy crisis. While critics were largely unimpressed, regular audiences offered a warmer response, granting the film a seventy-five percent rating from over one hundred verified reviews.

Neeson's filmography is also seeing shifts in digital availability. His 2012 survival thriller "The Grey," directed by Joe Carnahan, is scheduled to leave Netflix on November 1. The movie originally opened at number one at the box office, grossing $19.7 million in its opening weekend and earning critical acclaim from publications like The New York Times, alongside strong praise from critics such as Roger Ebert.

Interestingly, "The Grey" almost featured a different leading man. Director Joe Carnahan initially lined up Bradley Cooper for the role of John Ottway before negotiations fell through in late 2010. Neeson subsequently stepped into the part, portraying a sharpshooter tasked with protecting oil facility workers in Alaska who must survive a freezing wilderness plane crash and subsequent wolf attacks alongside co-stars like Frank Grillo and Dermot Mulroney.

Looking forward, Neeson maintains a packed schedule with several projects slated for release before the end of the decade. Following his appearance alongside Joe Keery and Georgina Campbell in the sci-fi horror comedy "Cold Storage," the actor is set to appear in the car chase action thriller "The Mongoose," as well as an upcoming adaptation of the crime comic book "4 Kids Walk Into a Bank."
