The critically acclaimed psychological horror game Mouthwashing is scheduled to arrive on Xbox Game Pass on October 29, 2026. Developer Wrong Organ and publisher CRITICAL REFLEX are bringing the indie title to subscribers across Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld devices, and PC, offering a fresh way for players to experience the stranded-crew mystery.

Alongside the console and subscription release, Mouthwashing is also launching on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on the same day. While the Windows version originally debuted on Steam in September 2024—where it has sold over 800,000 copies and earned overwhelmingly positive reviews—the October date marks its official console launch and its integration into Microsoft's subscription service.

Mouthwashing casts players as part of a five-person crew stranded aboard the Tulpar, a wrecked space freighter shrouded in perpetual sunset. The first-person, single-player title follows the psychological breakdown of the survivors as they face dwindling food supplies, failing power, and severe injuries sustained by Captain Curly, leaving players to navigate deep isolation and disturbing narrative twists.

The game is part of a larger wave of titles heading to Xbox Game Pass before the end of October. Major additions include Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which brings Square Enix's reimagined RPG and its hybrid combat system to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud on October 29.

Other titles joining the subscription service include Scramble Knights Online on October 26, an MMO-lite action RPG set in the shared kingdom of Terracott. This will be followed on October 27 by The Séance of Blake Manor, a supernatural detective mystery set in 1897 Ireland that tasks players with investigating a young woman's disappearance.

Rounding out the October 29 Game Pass lineup are Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, an HD remaster of the classic tower-defense game, and Terrible Lizards, a horror parkour game developed by WDR Studios. Meanwhile, titles such as Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Deep Rock Galactic, and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga are scheduled to leave the Game Pass library at the end of the month.
