Actor Sebastian Croft and comedian Romesh Ranganathan were crowned the winners of the second season of The Celebrity Traitors during a dramatic finale broadcast on BBC One. Playing as Faithfuls, the pair successfully outlasted remaining contestants and eliminated the final Traitor before deciding to conclude the game.

The 80-minute season finale brought weeks of deceit, betrayal, and tactical gameplay to a head. Heading into the final stretch, the remaining finalists participated in a final mission that brought the total prize fund to £83,000. With tension reaching a peak around the roundtable, the players faced difficult decisions regarding who to banish next.

During the final banishment rounds, contestants including Maya Jama, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and King Kenny were successively sent home as the Faithful sought to clear out any remaining hidden adversaries. James Blunt also fell short in the closing moments after voting to continue banishing rather than ending the game, which ultimately led to his own departure from the castle.

With only Croft, Ranganathan, and Blunt remaining in the final stages, the final vote cleared the path for the two surviving Faithfuls to claim victory. Rather than continuing the cycle of suspicion, Croft and Ranganathan chose to end the game and split the accumulated cash prize equally.

Following their victory, both winners revealed their plans to donate their respective shares to organizations supporting displaced people and refugees. Croft, known for his role in Heartstopper, stated that his portion would go to Choose Love, specifically supporting queer refugees and displaced individuals. Ranganathan announced that his share would be donated to the Refugee Council.

Reflecting on the emotional conclusion to his journey, Croft described the moment as incredible and expressed that it might be the best day of his life. Ranganathan similarly shared his gratitude for the opportunity to support a cause close to his heart.

The BBC One reality competition proved to be a massive ratings success throughout its run, drawing millions of viewers across broadcast and BBC iPlayer platforms. The dramatic finale concluded with an extra special episode of The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, featuring host Claudia Winkleman and the all-star cast reacting to the season's twists.
